Web Charting Products, Cloud Storage and Processing
NRIE developed direct to web devices over 10 years ago but the whole concept of cloud processing has now come of age. We are involved in a program of identifying which NRIE products are appropriate for upgrade to the latest technology and developing new hardware and software to suit.

One of the first developments was to take the existing direct to web data and create server side and client side scripting to enable data to be displayed in browser friendly charts. This process has resulted in a suit of visually appealing interactive chart templates which can be deployed to display data which is held in standard csv files as used by Excel.

NRIE has developed some server side scripting which can access Bureau of Meterology data for many automatic weather stations they maintain in Australia. Visit their website to see the wide range of locations.

For a small charge, NRIE can extract, collate and deploy data in historical Excel csv format for any of these sites. The data can either be maintained on the NRIE server or sent directly to your own server.

A typical set of data for the Ballina, NSW weather station is shown here.
